Hey, I was wondering how I could get the blonde parts in my hair without overdoing it.
![]() It's for Halloween, but I want to get it done earlier because I don't want to damage my hair all at once. I want my hair to look like that girl's, if not, less would be okay too. But I don't want to end up with too much blonde because I'm Asian and I personally do not think that Asians look good blonde. Thanks :] |

It seems like you already got some good advice, but I'll to add something useful, lol.
There's different ways to do streaks, when you go to the salon they put foil in your hair, but you can also do what's called baliage (I think that's it), where you put the dye on your hair without the foil. I've never done the foil myself, and I think that if you just do it without the foil it'll look more subtle because the hair will fall onto undyed hair and blend better (make sense?). There's also different types of dye. If you're still unsure, my suggest would be: a.) since it's for halloween, why not buy the stuff that rinses out at the end of the day? b.) go to a bookstore (like Barnes and Nobles) that has beauty books and read through some of them for more thorough information. |
