Tetanus Shots!, Hate them too? Options

So I had to go to the ER after stepping on a piece of glass that was huge. Everyone thought I might have to have stitches, but it wasn't so. I however had to get a nasty tetanus shot in my right arm.

I woke up this morning with such a pain... As if someone gave me a froggy instead of a shot. -.-

So, the point of this is... Whens the last time you had a tetanus, what happened, and did it bother you as much as mine is bothering me?

Tetanus shots aren't too bad, IMO. Last time I got one was a few months ago, after cutting my thumb open with my shears at school.
My arm was sore later, but when she gave me the shot, I was fine.
Needles don't bother me too bad. Though, I'd rather get my blood taken anyday, than get a shot.
Even though, the nurses usually can't ever find my veins, and it takes forever and such. Thats always funnnn
