Wellll... My husband and I have been living as if we are married since we were both about 18. We didn't actually have the cash to get married until 20. But to us marriage is just a paper confirming to the gov. what we already know. We're committed to eachother regardless of what some paper says. Uh, anyway, thats a bit off on a tangent.. I think the age you get married at has to do with a few factors: [¤] Circumstances that force you to grow up before you have to. [¤] Age Mentality [¤] The ability to fend for and take care of yourself. [¤] Along with(if applicable) parental/guardian consent(Unless emancipated) There are probably a lot of other things that go into it, but you should also consider before marrying that people who get married at a young age usually end up divorced. So young couples have to work /extra/ hard to keep your marriage. But I suppose if you're under 15, marriage should be the last thing on your mind. Sorry, I sort of rambled, didn't I? =\ |
