The question I like to ask y'all is why you guys or some other people think I try to act black? before you even ask that question why dont u think to urself wat makes myself wanna act black and some shit to prove your statement!!!!! you dig?
1) I never act black. In real life, never. In online, I have never except for times when I have joked around with people (Like speaking in a black way for entertainment) 2) Dressing black is acting black? I only dress like one sometimes, you know I've been dressing like a white person a lot too these days. I seriously don't think so. 3) Stupid kids gotta understand that this is an international world, any music can be a big preference to anyone of all races. Dudes be looking at my ipod and all you see is RAP music in the playlists, and they be like "Yo look that asian kid with the glasses over there. he thinks he's black listening to all that old school gangsta rap" .... Mother f**ker, shut your mouth! 4) Talking with a black slang dosen't make you a black wannabe. If a black person talks like a complete, white gentleman using no slang at all, are they trying to be a white wannabe? NO!!! so why dont y'all think about the other way around? I am making very good points and no i'm not talking about kobe bryant here, ladies and gentlemen!!! 5) Overall, I think too many people in this world are retarded. This goes for everyone in my school and some here in createblog. I like what I like, I do what I do! What does that concern you??? |

ok, in my opinion, there is no reason to talk "ghetto" unless you live by, hang around with, and associate with ghetto people. Wearing the clothes and listening to the music is one thing but there is no need to speak like that. I live in a ghetto area and do I talk like I`m an idiot? no. Also regardless of race there is no need to talk like that! Ok how do I put this? lol If there was a black person who lived in the suburbs and talked ghetto it just wouldn't be right.. & not every black person talks like that! Its wrong to say that! Im not saying if you live in the ghetto talk like everyone else does but I just think I would understand more if you did live in an area with people who talked & dressed that way. I dont know if that made sense but yeah.. lol

People can talk any way they want to regardless if it's ghetto or not. A white guy living in the ghetto can talk ghetto or not. Either one, it ain't a problem. Same with a person of any race or descent in the suburbs. Not a problem at all. People need to understand that fully. Ya dig? |

But why would they speak that way if they weren't influenced by what's around them? To be quite honest, I speak a certain way around certain people, like my friends for instance I speak in ebonics. Though when I'm at work, or on the phone with my girlfriend, I speak er...like myself....It's just a matter of where you grew up, though Jason, since you live in the suburban area, I don't see how you got the ebonic influences from. |
