i'm a freshman in high school, and the guy i like is a junior. he's really nice to me and every time i see him, he gives me really long hugs. Also, he gives me his jacket a lot. well, last night, i found out from my friend [whose also his friend] that theres apparently rumors we're going out. he hasn't officially asked me to go out, so i was just wondering if there's a point where two people become a couple without actually saying the words "will you go out with me?"

Don't make assumptions.... well there was this girl from work i like and we were best friends. i think i'm the only guy she hugs. she got jealous whenever i speak to other girls. there are a few times that we go out but i can't officially say that those are dates. A lot of things happened after but then in the end she told me we were just friends nothing more. i was crushed, devastated, decapitated, burned. she never spoke to me anymore....
