i'm a freshman in high school, and the guy i like is a junior. he's really nice to me and every time i see him, he gives me really long hugs. Also, he gives me his jacket a lot. well, last night, i found out from my friend [whose also his friend] that theres apparently rumors we're going out. he hasn't officially asked me to go out, so i was just wondering if there's a point where two people become a couple without actually saying the words "will you go out with me?"

Well, people ask in different ways without actually having to say "will you go out with me?" Hey, if you don't have a problem with it then I guess you guys can consider each other a couple.
