QUOTE The vaccine, Gardasil®, protects against four HPV types, which together cause 70% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently licensed this vaccine for use in girls/women, ages 9-26 years. The vaccine is given through a series of three shots over a six-month period. credit- http://www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV-vaccine.htm has anyone else gotten it? i got my first dose today. |

Haven't gotten it yet.
I plan too, I think. Terrified of needles ![]() My friend's putting up a fight against getting it, she says they can't be trusted and that they haven't had enough time to test the long long term effects. She's paranoid that it'll affect her pregnancy, that is if she chooses to have kids. And that her babies will have down syndrome, or some disability. Not too sure about that though ![]() |
