Can anybody tell me if there is a way to make pictures like this using Gimp?
http://www.raw-lyts.com/lyts/ivebeenlovingyou.htm Specifically the outlined brush bg that is a gradient and same thing with the writing... any help with be appreciated very much.

i may be able to search around and find some way to do it but i didn't even know what it might have been called, and i am talking about the picture that says 'i've been loving you for too long'
