Plaid skirts, how do you make them work? |

my sister gave me this plaid skirt, but i'm not sure how to make it look cute, but 90's style. any ideas?
i was thinking about a tank top under a white dress shirt with a couple buttons on the top undone, but i thought that would be a little slutty... |

I think anything White or DARK Navy blue would look good with it.
Be careful and don't make the shirts too tight though because you might look like a slutty school girl  I think this though mainly depends on what color the plaid is. I don't believe you stated... If you could find a picture of it, it would help greatly or atleast explain it
