so what would you say if your bf/gf decided to join the military? would you be okay with it, or not?

Yeah, the overseas thing is hard, but you find ways to deal with it. Sleeping with your cell phone incase they call and not watching the news coverage about Iraq or Afghanistan... haha.
I wouldn't want my spouse to be a medic or something (like another post said) because they'd still be in the midst of the fighting but they'd have to see the worse of the war. They wouldn't just see something happen to their friend they'd be the one cleaning it up. The medics that come back have some messed up stories and I saw Baghdad ER on television last year. Ick. |
