so what would you say if your bf/gf decided to join the military? would you be okay with it, or not?

I'd bee 100% okay with it. In fact, I'd join with her. I have enormous respect for anyone in the military (that hasn't done anything to lose it) and spent 4 years in ROTC, and have considered joining for quite some time. It's a failsafe right now.
