so what would you say if your bf/gf decided to join the military? would you be okay with it, or not?

An ex that I was still crazy about and best friends with just left for god knows where. It was so upsetting when he told me. It's one of those things where you don't know whether to be happy for him (he made the navy seals) or to be sad that he's leaving.
