so what would you say if your bf/gf decided to join the military? would you be okay with it, or not?

Depends on what branch and such. I have family in the military, so I wouldn't be one of those g/f's who complains about stuff like that. In relationships you have to compromise sometimes, and this would be a compromise. They wouldn't be around as much and you'd have to worry more.
