hi okay. i was looking through the tutorials of photoshop. so heres the thing. i've been trying and using the tutorials. and some of them aren't helping, like i don't know how to use the pen tool, cause it's confusing. and this topic didn't help much. http://www.createblog.com/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=711 so i don't know what to do. is there any easy way to learn?

What I do, is cut out the image I want, paste it onto the canvas needed. Then go up to Layer, and go down to layer style and choose "stroke"
Like so.
