If plastic surgery was considered wrong, sin, or negative, makeup should be considered as well. They are both cosmetic. I don’t know why people are against plastic surgery and not makeup.
They both make you “fake”, “masked”, and “isn’t who you really are” (not a great selection of words). Makeup is a great confidence boaster so does plastic surgery. It doesn’t matter if you take off makeup or have permanent surgery. They are BOTH COSMETIC, cover flaws, and carry risk. |

I've always thought these two were comparable.
I don't have that big an issue with plastic surgery if it's for a person who was born with a deformity and wanted it fixed. Surgery for stupid things, when you look fine as it is, that's something I dislike. Similarly I dislike people who wear vasts amounts of makeup that totally change their face so you can't recognize them without it. But I have no problem with a little eyeliner to enhance your eyes or blush to emphasize your cheeks. There's a difference. |
