I know that you are able to create a thread looking for a host, or a hostee, however there are also other options you can go to, to find a host.

If you already created a thread here, or if you haven't (do so!) AND to get more responses, add yourself to the database at pick-me.net.

They have a script that allows you to add yourself as a host or hostee, and fill in certain specifications, that way when people search for a host/hostee, they can look through their specifications listed, and possibly get ahold of you!

First of all if you are the owner of that domain, first you gotta find yourself a webhosting, usually when you are registering for webhosts they are asking you if you wanna register a new domain or use your own domain and after you've chosen your own domain, they will give you 2-4 NS's(name servers, ex. ns1.blabla.com ns2.blabla.com), copy all those and go to your domain manager, use Name Servers mananger and change your actual NS's with the ones from your webhosting then you gotta wait like 24/48 or 48/72 hours untill the webhosting will have control over your new domain and after that you can start working on your website and all that.
