I hate you. Now die Options

Well a couple of months ago my friend was talking about this person that she hated a lot and how she wished that person would die. She would say how she wanted that person to die and stuff. Well a couple months later she found out that they died in the virginia tech shooting.

But anyways....

Have you hated someone so much you don't care what would happen to them no matter how tragic the situation was?

I was thinking about this and thought back to my sophomore year. My brother had a girlfriend and they'd been going strong for a while. She was in my grade and he was a senior. The summer before that year, her bestfriend apparently tried to make a move on her, but she was the bigger person and told my brother about what happened. My brother got pretty pissed and hated this kid. Funny, though, they used to be really good friends and we'd take the kid home from school. The hate got so bad that this kid would seriously taunt my brother and make him even more mad. Well, one of the kids friend somehow got into the mix, probably just sticking his nose in the wrong place. Him and my brother got into a fight and my brother pretty much lost. My brother had such hatred towards both of them, or so it seemed. Later on in that school year, the kid who he'd been in a fight with lost control of his car and flew through the winshield and died. The one that had tried to make a move on his girlfriend also got into a car wreck like the 4th day of school, flew through the windshield and died as well. I don't think my brother ever wished that either would die, but was sincere enough to actually pay his respects to both of them.

Both of the kids were from my class. It was pretty hard on the school as they both had a lot of friends. The one that fought my brother used to be pretty decent friends with me as we both played on the same soccer team, and like I said about the other, my brother was pretty good friends with him. It's funny how things can change so easily. My brother and the girl have since moved on to new people, though, so hopefully something like this won't happen again.
