Well, if they were going to recieve a PM anyway, then if they ARE on, they will respond to it in the same way that a visible user was, and if they are offline, then it makes no difference, the same goes for replying to a thread.
Really, it makes no practical difference. As far as 'why?' goes, I would imagine that it would be for the same reasons as anyone else who logged on as invisible... They aren't actually a seperate species with ulterior motives, you know. Although, admittedly, the tentacles can be misleading. |
