Has anyone here seen and loved "Hairspray"? It's one of my favorite musicals, and I LOVE the music!
They're making a movie version of the musical. (Strange; first a movie, then a musical based on the movie, and now a movie based on the musical...) The cast list is really impressive! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427327/ I'm not sure I can see John Travolta as being Mama, though... |

...They were playing the original on ABC family a few days ago I believe it was..
My dads girlfriends kids went to theaters to go see the new version and then watched the original.. I didn't bother to watch it, it really didn't seem to catch my attention through the commercials.. |

Yeah I saw the original too but I saw it the day before I saw the new version. Even though there are many easy to find differences I still love them both equally because they each had different parts that made them spacial in there own way I know that sound corny but that is how I truly feel. |
