Which would you prefer?
My friend is going through this thing where she's liking a guy whom I think is a bit out of her league. I don't actually tell her that, but I tell her the truth. I told her that as her friend, I will not sugarcoat things for her. I said that because I think that she is old enough to handle the harsh truth and that she'd know how to recover from it. She told me that sometimes people just prefer the sugarcoat because the truth may be too hard to handle. I personally am the type of person who would rather take the harsh truth than have people make it all unicorns and rainbows for me. I've had terrible truths being told about me, but I appreciate the people for telling me even though they hurt. Opinions? |

It depends on the person and what the truth is.
If someone isnt good looking or something, Im not going to flat out say that they are ugly.. Some of my friends would rather be lied to, than know the truth. |
