SPOILERS Um, what? Snape *NEVER* loved Harry. His feelings were always for Lily, and only for Lily. As shown here, on pages 551 - 552 * * * 'But this is touching, Severus,' said Dumbledore seriously. From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe: she landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears. 'After all this time?' 'Always,' * * * Snape hated Harry because he had Lily's eyes, and every time he looked at Harry he was reminded of her, and how if he had've died, Lily might still be with him. But tell me, what makes you think Snape loved Harry? I never got that impression while reading. BTW, in case you didn't know, Lily's patronus was also a doe. However I agree with you. After reading the Deathly Hallows, Snape became my favourite character. Even after Molly's total owning of Bellatrix Lestrange - although I must say I did want Neville to be the one to do her in. |
