im currently reading "Go Ask Alice" (which is a true diary about a 15-year-old teen that's on drugs...pleasant, right?) and "Cut" (about someone that...cuts. even more pleasant)
i seem to be drawn to books about teenagers with common problems. especially diaries. even though i don't (and never will) do drugs, alcohol, or smoke...it still intrigues me. my friend was the one that has been buying books like this, including others like "The perks of being a Wallflower" and "Crank". She lets me borrow them after she reads them...and i love them. Have you read any of these books or ones similar to them? |

these are my favorite kinds of books
go ask alice, cut, crank, burned, beauty queen. ellen hopkins id say is one of my favorite authors she wrote crank, burned, impulse, and glass (i havent read the last 2 but i plan to as soon asi get the books) ah haha idk what to say i love these kinds of books though ive read so many books i cant even remember them all and i have a whole list of books i am trying to get so i can read idk i guess i like reading about peoples messed up lives\ QUOTE(Acid Bath Slayer @ Jan 15 2006, 07:12 PM)  Did no one read my post?  i read it and idk like, i feel like youre completely against this book for no reason i liked go ask alice, just because it was a good book to read i dont really care if it was true or not. but, i do have to say i have a book on my list to read by beatrice sparks called it happened to nancy - and you make me not even want to read it. also, any book that was said on this thread that is good ill probably end up reading lol |
