Does anyone use this for their American history class, presumably AP? (I know Justin does, so I fully expect at least one relevant response to this topic). Doesn't it infuriate you? Isn't it horrid? It doesn't understand the concept of chonological order (Lincoln dies, Johnson takes over, and now suddenly we're back on Lincoln's policies. Then, Johnson didn't drink, he drank once, and oh, he's intelligent. Nonsqeuitor much?), everything that occurs on the 4th of July is "ironic," and it used the word "yeasty."

QUOTE
"The Republic owes much to these latercomers--for their brawn, their brains, their courage, and the yeasty diversity they brought to American society."

I liked it too, but it was probably because the textbook that I used the year before for AP World History was really bad. It was called World Civilizations. It had a REALLY ugly cover
