ahoy-hoy, im rilly getting annoyed from all this race stuff,
my heritage is from cyprus (little island close to egypt) but i call myself bloody AUSTRALIAN!!!

i feel left out on so many levels in polls and forums . i cant even vote because theres not a catagory for me . i have never seen a south east asian pacific choice. and i dont classify myself as asian by definition. asian pacific is a totally different thing .

1. is there anyone out there that is from australia?

2. out of common interest, do you really think we ride around on kangaroos (only edible national icon.)

3. please dont think that boomerangs dont work because you bought a purely decorational boomerang and tryed to throw it (those ones are designed to look pritty and make you feel like a well rounded multicultural person, which your not) there not for throwing. there are ones you can buy that if thrown correctly return to you.

only true RETARDS (no matter what race/culture/background) think that Australians ride kangaroos. if we say it, we're usually joking. anyways, I'm pretty sure that most people know that Australia is its own continent. lots of things get left out, especially the little countries. or the carribean... it's not our fault, how often do you remember the greenland?

you get annoyed, at least when you say "I'm Australian" people know where you're from and where it is. here's what usually happens to me:
"I'm Haitian and Taiwanese"
-"Haitian?"
"yea, from Haiti"
-"umm.. what's that?"
"a country, you know the Dominican Republic? it shares the island"
-"oooh. wait why aren't you black?"
"because of French ancestors"
-"ok cool so you speak spanish?"
.... and things of the sort

but I love it when people DO know where it is and have heard about it, I don't mind explaining why I've never gotten kidnapped
