So there's this radio station in the Houston area, 93.7 the arrow (a rock station) that does this thing called a Birthday Scam. People get calls from the radio station and the radio station talks to them about something and basically tells them a lot of things need to change and that they owe fees and their house is gonna be repo'd etc etc. In order to find out an issue that the person's been dealing with, someone close has to submit the idea for the scam lol.
On their birthday they call the person up and give them a hard time (and these guys are really good at making things up on the spot) about whatever issue was submitted. Would you do it? Would you be pissed if someone did it to you? Oh yeah people usually end up laughing at the end of it. |

There's a local radio station here that has a similiar usual prank done every morning. It's entertaining to listen to.
 I would do it to a friend of mine. I'd just have to choose someone who wouldn't be a bad sport about it and laugh it off when they found out. If it were done to me, I'd be shocked and possibly a tad upset at first. But then I'd probably ask myself why I fell for such a thing and laugh about it. |
