I'm currently working PT at DELL in the assembly line to help my parent pay off their debt. I then realize how important it is to get a good education. You have to be at the top at the game or else you will be commanded like a dog. Most of the people who use this forum are teen. You should think about your future/education before it too late. I was surrounded with people that only have a high school diploma and their job can be replace at anytime. My parent work in those range. I now feel appreciate for all that they suffer and sacrifice for me.
Most teen in US don't live with their parent after they past 18. They spread their wing and start their own journey. I don't because I don't want to start a journey that will end in misery. I want to stock up a lot of money awhile living with my parent. I probably get marry around 30. (i'm 20 now). If i don't make the salary i desire then i will be single. I don't want to have kid and make them suffer because i wasn't prepare to give them what they need. DO anyone think about this stuff before getting marry or do you think Love is not enough.? Get marry at young age = debt! |

^ I disagree. Maybe you have to lead my life in order to understand. Being well - off and still having a very rocky relationship is worse that being poor and being happy.
Sure, money buys you a lot but not almost everything. I envy a friend of mine who is still ... under average. Although her parents have financial disputes from time to time but the whole situation brings them closer. They work together to make their children happy. My dad, the rich bastard, well, he does nothing. |

About the money, my parents are always fighting about money, my teacher divorce her disable husband for money problem and a lot of people I know give up each other for a better financial stability. When you're married, your financial ownership/responsibility is fuse with your partner. This problem applies to strong urbanized people, I believe. Money just bring stress to relationship. it's never easy to have a great relationship when the money is bothering you. |
