Basically - I am 17 years old, I've been getting my period since I was 12. It's never been normal. I haven't had my period in almost 7 weeks. It's starting to annoy me. I know for a fact that I am not pregnant since I haven't done anything since May. My mom doesn't listen to me when I tell her my period is irregular so what am I supposed to do? Plus I'm afraid to tell her I haven't had it in 7 weeks because she'll automatically think I'm pregnant. & to make matters worse - the gynecologist won't see me until I'm 18, it's not like I can go there.

there's numerous reasons as to why u have an irregular cycle. u could be lacking certain vitamins, have poor eating habits, a lot of stress, or quick weight loss/gain. also if u consume an excessive amount of carbohydrates u should cut back. iron is really important. u should get ur iron checked to see if it's low, and if u are, start taking those iron pills; they could start to regulate ur period. Well, that explains alot. I have poor eating habits, though I try hard to eat healthy, I have been stressed since my boyfriend's been gone, I've lost 10 pounds in 2 months .. I'll ask my mom about getting my iron checked. I thought Planned Parenthood was anonymous and you don't need parental consent for that. Don't you still need money? Hah - I don't have that. |
