I've been thinking about taking creatine but is it legit? What do you guys think? Are there any short or long term side effects?

How effective is it? Cause i don't want to get TOO buff.

Why do we have to work harder to gain them, when things slow down?

How do you massively gain strength and size as a newbie?

It takes about a year to naturally gain 10 lbs of lean muscle mass.. after newbie gains. Newbie gains are usually 5-10lbs of lean mass within 6 months... then it starts to slow down because your body gets used to the work outs... so all you can do is rep weights more or add more weight.
