please read this for more info:

basically there are two options: we can have it the way it is now, where submitters are able to remove comments from their submissions or i can revoke their ability so that only staff can.

pros
-one less thing to "report" to the staff members for inappropriate content (ie bashing).

cons
-legitimate posts may be deleted because the submitters cant take criticisms
-its harder to point out its a "jocked" layout - since the submitter can remove the comment.

Let the submitters do it. Why? It allows them to remove pointless/ spam comments on their own. Plus if they want to delete your comment. Then let them . That just means they are either not mature enough to handle or you said something rude. Either way THEY READ IT. So it makes no difference to me. But let the members have some power.

Thats my opinion.
