Oh, because I googled as soon as you mentioned dirt bikes, and I saw that there are adults and kids who have gotten in trouble for riding dirtbikes on public streets. So apparently, they do get in trouble. Maybe those cops that stalk your brother don't know the difference btw a regular bike and a dirt bike? *Shrugs*.
You said you never saw cops getting on people for riding bikes and I thought you meant that in general, not around your town. A misunderstanding, is all. Basically, what we're getting at here is that if skateboarders (and the likes--dirt bikers included) follow the rules, then cops should have no business hunting them down like that. However, if they break the rules, they should be punished like any other lawbreaker. |
