As a member on CB I ran across some jockers, that jocked me. I'd like to announce them because if they jocked me, they would jock YOU, so when they submit a layout, check out their codes and make sure they're not your codes. A jocker is always a jocker.
Jockers: Ultimate MySpace If you know of any more jockers, list them here. I think we have a right to know who our jockers are. These jockers are most active in website. The name with the * means they've jocked twice. Edit: Fixed most grammatical errors.. - Cristy This post has been edited by Synesthesia: Jun 15 2008, 12:06 PM
Reason for edit: The "amoung" and other grammatical errors bothered me too much. - Cristy

Well excuse me for saying this, but you can't jock CSS. All you did was put in a few elements, to an already built style sheet. If you created your own than bravo. But it was based on an a langauge that was created already for you.
As far as DIV layouts go, that property does belong to you, becuase you did make the image, which is usually the most important part, and the positioning which takes a long time. But I don't see holding a grudge over the internet for someone stealing something that you made a good way to spend your time. If they are making money from your layout, and you feel mad about that, then you should have sold it too. well thats my take on it. |

If a Div is jocked, then it's a bit more understandable for someone to go out of their way to rat out the Jocker. But when it comes to basic CSS and standard Myspace layouts, I personally don't think it's that much of a big deal unless the resemblence between the original and the jocked version are quite a lot alike. I mean, yeah, all in all it's a pretty sneaky thing to do but, like someone said earlier, if they made a great layout with it, and it's not too much of a reseblence to yours, I'd just let it go. |
