^ ... Way to contribute nothing to the thread. How about reading one or two of the posts?
And don't you mean "should've", not "shouldn't"? Skateboarding is against that city's ordinance laws. Therefore, it's punishable. Saying that kids shouldn't be punished for breaking the law doesn't make any sense. |

It's against the law to ride a dirtbike on a public street - so that makes it punishable. I don't see cops chasing kids on dirtbikes. Only skateboards. & where do you come off saying that I've contributed nothing to the thread? - not to go off topic but I'm curious. EDIT ; I read the whole thread. :]] |

Only skateboards. & where do you come off saying that I've contributed nothing to the thread? - not to go off topic but I'm curious. EDIT ; I read the whole thread. :]] Public streets are ideal for skaters because there's tons of stuff to grind on, jump over, etc. Dirt biking is for dirt. You probably don't see cops chasing after kids on dirtbikes because kids don't dirtbike on public streets. At least not where I live. And I said that because you didn't say anything supporting your statement as to why you think the skateboarders shouldn't have gotten in trouble when it was already stated that it was legitimate that they get punished. If you have a problem with the law itself, you could've presented points about that. Also, I'm quite sure that riding a bike is acceptable by most cities' ordinance laws. If it isn't in your city and your brother can get away with it while skaters don't, I'd understand why you're upset. |
