Ok seeing as how this is my first post ever on this forum, guess I should introduce myself a bit...

My bday's Oct. 27, 1991. I grew up in Chicago, but now live in Taiwan, and I'm Chinese. Male.

Ok so here's the deal. My dad has had cancer for a year, but he still works, and is the only source of income for my family of 3. He's quite successful, but his health is failing, and is doing everything he can to ensure my future by sending me to a high-tuition private international school, etc. My mom, on the other hand, pretty much does housework. Now, on a usual basis, she seems quite content. However, every once in a while, she gets really, really angry at me. She always says how I never do my hw, I play too many games, I stay at home too much, I go out too much, etc. Those are just a few of the many examples. Sometimes I'm in my room, and I turn off the AC. I say it's a bit cold and I want to save energy, but my mom insists and she ALWAYS gets her way. Etc. etc. etc. Now, just earlier, my mom wanted to go out, but my dad just had chemotherapy and is feeling like sh!t pretty much. They have a fight, my mom gets loud because she has a REALLY bad temper, and it pretty much just elevates.

What I'm trying to say is that my anger twoards my mom constantly bottles up with these little things she does. She's NEVER happy with me. She says I need a haircut, I say I'll wait a month, in the end she gets scissors and cuts my hair herself. I mean what's the deal with her? Ok, she cares for me, but if she does she should care about my -happiness-? Living with her is miserable, but every time I just nod and do as she says, bottling it up. Junior year's commin along, and I realize how important it is to study and all, but now she's goin as far as to taking my computer and deleting all my games, programs, etc. Anything that isn't necessary for study. I mean wtf? I'm gonna pop soon. I've done so before, I've suddenly started yelling at her in the middle of her fits, but I mean I'm gonna POP soon. Any help?

I'm having a similar trouble with my mom, so I know how you feel about bottling emotions up. And yeah, I too feel like exploding any minute.

Listen to/read what everyone else has said, it's true.
