http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=178441 basically there are two options: we can have it the way it is now, where submitters are able to remove comments from their submissions or i can revoke their ability so that only staff can. pros -one less thing to "report" to the staff members for inappropriate content (ie bashing). cons -legitimate posts may be deleted because the submitters cant take criticisms -its harder to point out its a "jocked" layout - since the submitter can remove the comment. |

I think that the submitter of the layout should atleast have the say so of what comments stay and what comments don't. I mean, seriously, when making a layout, people spend a lot of time on it, so they should atleast have control of that.
However, I do see your reason for asking the question. There are some cons to it! |
