I'm not really sure why the hell i'm posting this, either i'm kinda upset or just frusterated. I think i'm just lookin for advice from others who know how to deal with this kind of situation. I've been goin out with my gf for a month and her parents hve no idea i'm dating her. Its difficult to go out and be with her cause her parents want to know who she will be with and i think shes afraid to tell them about us. This could help others who are in this situation but i need advice. i dont want to break up with her i just want to be with her more without restrictions of her parents not knowing of us.

You have to meet the parents. Be upfront/genuine with them. They'll often respect you much more if you are honest and don't try to hide things from them.
Give us more info, how old are y'all, grades, do her parents have prejudices against certain races, are they open to their daughter dating? |

Give us more info, how old are y'all, grades, do her parents have prejudices against certain races, are they open to their daughter dating? hell no to the meeting the parents. m sorry but this happend to me with my parents. they didnt want me to date. so i did it behid their backs. ask ur gf why she doesnt tell her parents.. maybe her parents started having kids when they were young and dont want their daughter to make the same mistakes they made.. ? maybe its something else. when she does tell her parents about you when shes confident then they will want to meet u. not the other wat around.. but dont let it exceed dating for more than three months without the parents knowledge.. belive me my parents found out the nasty way.. macking in the mall.. lol so they werennt too pleased.. it was a year long relationship and all i can say is that it will end badly if you let it go for that long. so just talk to your gf. she'll talk to you. :) |
