cB, Lenient or Strict? Options

Just came up out of curiosity. If you could have behavior changed in cB, would you want it to be stricter enforcement regarding bashing/fun(imo), or have it be more lenient. I'd post w/e but that might sugar coat the choices :)

Or would you rather it stay the same?

My view of strict/lenient.

Strict : Crack down more on member bashing, keeping threads more to the point and less off topic.

Lenient : Allow deviation from the topic as long as it doesn't completely abandon the topic or resort to people fighting and only fighting with no regard to the topic. Allow people to voice their opinion (no matter how rude or mean).

Also, feel free to post your view on leniency/strictness.

Ohh. =\ I've never seen the CBC being moderated. But it's up to the user if they want to be bashed there since it's like the subdivision of cB community.

In my opinion having the mods follow the moderator guidelines would be better for the community. It's always up to the moderator if they feel that something is objectionable. Maybe there should just be moderators on staff that arn't as inclined to being inflanced by mods that have been around for a while. I can see how some of the newer mods have been taught that even the little things should be closed.

err, I'm rambling. The last two sentances probably don't make any sense.

Because you can't moderate CBC. It's AIM, not cB. They have 0 power there. People speak their mind, are sarcastic, play games, make fun of people (in fun), discuss life, discuss how Suzzette likes guy's with 10" penises, etc etc.
