All black? What am I doing wrong?, My first Div. Options

I have tried making my first Div.
OK; it looks fine in Dreamweaver;
And in preview it looks fine.

But when I place it in the profile it just shows all black.
:/.

Can anyone help?

How to position it.
Everything has like fogged my head. ~haha.

I know it isn't much, but now I am totally confused.
The position and such;
I think I know how to make the divs over the image but not sure.
