I'm not so sure but can a person who is hosted for free by another person and is on a subdomain of the host... Can that person who has the subdomain, provide hosting to others??

You don't need cpanel to access your site or pages. Thats why you made them a FTP account. They upload all site pages and everything via FTP. Nothing in cPanel is needed. Email accounts, and databases, and ftp accounts can be made by you. They will be ok after the FTP. (Hence why its easier to host people with FTP knowledge. Its easy though) . It will add it to your file manager but they can not log in w/o your password so don't worry about it. Because your hosting it they're just trying to get you organized.
Yes thats what I meant by databases. You don't need to make one if you don't want to offer it. Programs like wordpress and other scripts on the web require one to run and thats about it. You don't have to offer it. You don't have to make it unless they ask. |
