OK, I'm stuck in a pretty bad dilema here. I'm 17 years old, and I just went into college last fall. I have about 3 close friends that I keep in touch with, but I still feel like I'm missing a whole lot of socialism and interaction in my life.
I've tried joining the clubs at my college, but they all think I'll be to 'immature' to keep up with their conversations, or that I don't have 'enough' interest in the club to 'bother returning for subsequent meetings.' I just want to get to know some people around town that I can talk to and have fun with. It's tricky to do in the town that has the number one (violent) crime rating in America. Any suggestions? |

sports is always a good thing to do, start hanging out with random people. Less you stay home more chance you have at meeting people.Meet people that you dont even like just to help to meet thier friends so you will have a networking thing.
