what sort of parent do you think you'll become? Options

pretty much what the title's about. what type/sort of parent do you think you'll become in the future if you aren't one now? even if you won't have children, imagine how you would probably raise your children.

ex:
do you think your methods will be completely different from your parents'? or will you raise your children similarly?

will you be a lenient parent or will you give them an amish-like lifestyle?

make them do a bunch of extra curriculars and whatnot, or let them run free!

what will your disciplinary style be..if you're going to have one?



dang that was long, guess i got carried away. well to answer my own question, i think i'm going to be raising my kids similarly to the way i was raised. i didn't turn out a disaster! well, i hope not? i'm going to be one of those parents promoting a social life with my kids...i don't want them to be social outcasts..

Hmm.Well a lot of parents always said to me that they wanna give their child what they didnt have.I want the same.I don't wanna have my child feel like stabbin me in the throat because I won't stop bugging them about stupid little things.

I'll raise them un-similar to how my mom raised me.I'll raise my kid like my dad would.I'll be a parent that my kid could go out and say "thats the coolest dad ever".I'll give them anything they want even if I had to die to see my child smile I would do anything.I'll raise them to voice their opinions and to speak their mind how ever they want.And as far as discipline - - If they think they a bigger beeyotch than me and try to play that little attitude - - slamming doors - - rolling eyes - - calling me a b-tch under their breath.They shall get the ONLY back hand slap - - one so hard they will never want to be hit ever again - - like my dad did to me.Basically I wanna follow how raised me a little until he left - - but thats one mistake I wont do - - is leave my kid.Never :o

And if they don't wanna participate in any extra curricular activities.So what.They just ain't gonna be obese laying on the sofa,thats for sure.
