What do you give up for your sport? Do you think it's worth it?

sacrifice for sports
my time but most painfully, my body I have a little ballish bump in my chest from a year and a half ago when I got took a charge/fall in basketball. I should have went to the ER, but I decided to toughen it up, because it was a close game, the other team pissed me off, and the girl I liked was watching. So I played through the pain of a broken rib for 45 minutes. The after the game, I pretend I wasn't hurt, so I could go celebrate. The truth was, there was a huge black and blue mark and I had trouble breathing. So I said nothing about the pain until a week later when it was unbearable, got a xray, and found out I indeed broke a rib. The doctor said I came in to late, and the bone already started to naturally heal. The broken end smoothed off and therefore that's my little bump. I have one more bone than you guys =]. |
