Well, I've never used a tampon before, but I heard from a friend that she read about a girl who used a tampon and forgot to take it out. She felt sick and she was sent to the ER. When she was there the doctor asked her if she was on her period. And she suddenly remembered she had the tampon in there still. When she took it out, she felt much better.
I heard there's a syndrome or something that goes along with using tampons. Any experience? |

Tampons are uncomfortable to use. Well for me anyway. I mean, having something stuck in there for so long...eww. As far as getting sick by using it: sometimes it is not always that you forget to take it out. You might have to alternate between tampons and pads. Using just tampons even if you change it can make you feel a little woozy. If using tampons, its best just to use for important occasions, like parties, weddings, etc. Other than that, pads are safer. Just remember to change pads too, because blood itself is toxic.
