this tracker (myspace) shows someone visited me from Herndon, VA, and that they were from my friend list. There is no one on my friend list that is in VA. more specifically, the IP associated with that visit is my friend who lives in the same town as me, in TEXAS!
so how or why is the tracker telling me wrong locations for the IP address? It's not very accurate. Can someone please explain to me? thank you. |

hi,
the tracker geolocation for usa is 99% accurate except for aol isp users. aol routes all internet traffic through reston, virginia, so the tracker is unable to determine the actual state and city for those people. |
