I still like him but.... Options

Ok, well, I still like my ex-boyfriend.
Yeah, um, I think it's kind of sad.
He was my first boyfriend.
It didn't really work out (well, then again, most middle school relationships don't.)
He already has a new girlfriend, and they both really love each other. The love he never gave to me.
I really want to stop loving him, but I can't.
I've told him straight forward that I liked him on the last day of school.
Since then, he's never emailed me back.
Advice please.
Should I get him back,
should I try and stop loving him,
or should I do something else?
I really have no idea.

I think you should attempt to get over him. Considering it's the summer, hang out with people and keep yourself busy. If he's dating someone and giving them the "love he never gave you," then he's just happier that way.

If you really love him, then you would just want him to be happy right? JK, I believe that cliche is false. Anyways,

He's already with someone else, and it's pretty selfish to try to wedge in between that relationship. If it's only been a few weeks since you broke up, it's understandable that you feel this way. You just have to give it more time. A few months, a year; time will pass and you'll soon find yourself happier without even the thought of him.
