this tracker (myspace) shows someone visited me from Herndon, VA, and that they were from my friend list. There is no one on my friend list that is in VA. more specifically, the IP associated with that visit is my friend who lives in the same town as me, in TEXAS!
so how or why is the tracker telling me wrong locations for the IP address? It's not very accurate. Can someone please explain to me? thank you. |

You will rarely ever get the actual city where the person visits from, its all dependent on the isp, you will have to cross-reference the ip and time stamp with any messages or comments you get.
