Me and a friend of mine like to get into deep discussions about religion and so on and so forth. Just so that ya'll know where I stand, I am a christian...non denominational. I dont completely believe in certain aspects of organized religion...church is not my forte much lately. Anyways, to the point...
We were discussing how it seems to us that atheists seem to be angry. Either at Christians or just at the world in general. I like to do research on different religions and have explored many different options. I am simply inquiring about atheists just so I can understand more. Do you think atheists are angry? Are you atheist? Are you angry? Explain why and tell me a little about what you believe so that I can understand. Once again, please be respectful in everything you say and do me a favor and put a little thought into it...dont respond with a simple statement like "christians are hypocrites" or something like that. Thanks... |

the people i know that are truly angry associate themselves with different groups such as deism, atheism, and christianity
so, really i think the religous belief a person chooses has a little to do with how angry they are, but it mainly depends on each person's personal experience with religion and their own assumptions and ideas. |

Well there's only two kinds of Atheist. The faithless pussified humans who blame God for everything and anything that doesn't go their way because they think God is their servant of some sort. (no pun intended voguelove) And the atheist who actually look at the human logic of things and see that there's no proof in their eyes that God exists. |

Wait... so you're an atheist not because of science, but because you blame God for taking a family member from you? Damn. And the atheist who actually look at the human logic of things and see that there's no proof in their eyes that God exists. well, theres obviously some sort of information that i left out of my post. and yes, i'd have to agree with your second quote more than i do with your first. not only have i had 8 years to think about this incident, but i've also dug deeper and found myself believing only because i dont think there's anything to believe. personally, im forced to believe that "what can be touched, or seen is real." have i seen this "god?" no. has "he" helped others, maybe?" yes. but i havent seen it. also, it makes no sense to say that "he" created the heavens and the earth in 7 days. didnt scientists already research that topic and say it couldnt be done? maybe if those 7 days stood for something else (thousands of years) could it have happened. and obviously..thats called evolution. nonetheless, it definitely makes much more sense to say that we evolved from apes than to say that all of us come from WHITE parents. and yes, ive been told from a particular CBer that adam and eve had some sort of magic hidden up their sleeves with the ability to have children from other races. uhh, bs? if that could happen in the past, why doesnt it happen again? has there even been a time in moden day when a woman delievers a baby of a totally difference race than who she is or who the father is? mm, not that i know of. |

personally, im forced to believe that "what can be touched, or seen is real." have i seen this "god?" no. has "he" helped others, maybe?" yes. but i havent seen it. I fully understand, God reveals to us in many different manners/ways, many of them we don't realize. You'll know when one day you have something sort of an epiphany and you just drop down to your knees and thank God for opening all your eyes. In my case, this is what happened to me. also, it makes no sense to say that "he" created the heavens and the earth in 7 days. didnt scientists already research that topic and say it couldnt be done? maybe if those 7 days stood for something else (thousands of years) could it have happened. and obviously..thats called evolution. nonetheless, it definitely makes much more sense to say that we evolved from apes than to say that all of us come from WHITE parents. Well it's funny you mention the Thousands of years lol. Because from my belief it is claimed that 1 Day to God is a 1000 years. Well the thing is, religion and atheist are stubborn. Because for some reason, they cannot fathom the idea that creation and evolution coexists. There has to be a creator, because without the creation of some sort of object, there couldn't be existence of anything. Things just don't happen unless it was created and designed to do so. Who exactly was white? Adam and Eve wasn't the first people on this Earth. They were the first people with a God they recognized. The purpose of Adam and Eve was to procreate a race of humans of which followed the Laws of God and Nature. The latest discoveries was of giant human-like bones 10-16 feet tall and almost twice the width of modern day humans skeletons, here's some existing proof and I'll source of course: ![]() ![]() Source: http://paranormal.about.com/od/mysteriousr.../a/aa060605.htm http://biblefacts.org/myth/giant.html 7+ Feet Tall Human Skeletons Source: http://www.stevequayle.com/Giants/N.Am/New....of.giants.html ![]() Source: http://www.burlingtonnews.net/giantsb.html Many more sources of discoveries: Source: http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/Lagoon/1345/giants.html http://www.theaaca.com/membersbios/bio_cain4.htm A Highly Reputable Source In Science; Topic - Little People Civilization: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sciencenow/3209/01-ask.html This is also a good read: http://www.stevequayle.com/books/gen6cover.html The point I'm making is, that people misunderstand the Bible, Qur'an, Torah, etc... And it's not their fault. When you purchase a book, you most likely know the genre of the book. Such as fiction, non-fiction, Philosophy, etc... The Holy Books are non-fictional, but they're written in parables, riddle-like, with a lot of symbolism. and yes, ive been told from a particular CBer that adam and eve had some sort of magic hidden up their sleeves with the ability to have children from other races. uhh, bs? if that could happen in the past, why doesnt it happen again? has there even been a time in moden day when a woman delievers a baby of a totally difference race than who she is or who the father is? mm, not that i know of. Heh this argument is cute, my lil cousin once asked a similar question (no offense to you of course). Remember how I mentioned Intelligent By Design/creation and evolution coexists? Well here's the simple answer to your different races and different languages. Evolution. For example, here's one source which explains the Evolution of Skin types and skin color: http://arjournals.annualreviews.org/doi/ab...3.070203.143955 Remember people have the freewill to move to any part of the world where other people already exist, with different traits, those who are naturally selected to adapt with their environment (the big picture, their region) So lets say family A. moved to the region of what is now called Africa, and family B. stayed in their part of the region which is now the Middle East. Both families are of the same traits (Adam And Eve). After 100's even thousands of years family A. would have evolved from having Middle Eastern traits to having either a mixture of Middle Eastern and African traits. While family B. who never left their region, were already naturally selected to adapt to their environment/region, so their traits never change. Also keep in mind there was already different languages. Because the people who derived from Adam and Eve, the God lovers, they all spoke 1 language. They looked the same (until evolution stepped in). But then there was the "human-like people (not exactly human but had similar human traits), that already existed prior to the creation of Adam and Eve. The people who were not of Adam and Eve already evolved to have different traits from other regions of the world, and especially different from the blood line of Adam and Eve. But Language then split up even more. During the time of when the people (the people who derived from Adam And Eve) of Babylon were building the Tower of Babel (The Gate Of God) God came down and punished the people by changing their language and confusing them. Causing them to panic and scatter about. So only those who had the same language would unite and procreate a civilization of which would have the same physical human traits (Adam And Eve traits). Biblical/Scientific study: http://www.ldolphin.org/babel.html Now we have 1,600 languages I believe? I'm not certain. So that should answer your post, you can ask me anything else and I'll try my best to answer it. And don't worry, I'm not tryin to convert you, just tryin to get you to see a different reality/perspective, using both Creation and Evolution ![]() |
