i hate it when people call cheats for games hacks but whatever
for CS, if you record a demo, it will only show EXACTLY what appears on YOUR screen, not others. assuming you were using an OpenGL hook (or something related), then there would be extra text appearing on your screen. if YOU recorded a demo, then it will record all the text the cheat places (ala metacheat) on your screen. but, anyone through HLTV can only see you as if they were in spectator mode (So you dont see money, hooks, radar, and anything else client-side) unless you were blatently cheating (awp through the walls hehe), then its hard to actually prove that you were cheating. as for the person hacking into your computer, either you downloaded a program that had a keylogger or trojan. if he did something like put files in your shared docs folder, then dont worry about that. thats just a NET USE trick and its mostly harmless. and i agree, wannabe hackers almost ALWAYS end up as script-kiddies. they just dont have the patience to read through the countless texts. instead of trying to understand how the computer and internet actually works, their primary purpose is to hack into a friends computer and show off how skilled they are, or, god-forbid, hack into a friend's website and deface it (idiot hackers who put their names or tags or anything at all that is linked to them on sites they hack almost always get caught). the main purpose of hacking is to learn, and most people dont understand this. youre more likely to get yourself arrested for accidentally trying to break into a company server than gain anything at all. |
