Doesn't every teenager go through a stage where they want to be an actress, a model, a rockstar, a rap star, some sort of star.
Sometimes I want to be a hiphop artist, I want to write books, I want to be a big famous chef, I want to act, I want to be in a rock band. More recently, a rock band. I have some friends who are in bands and they've been getting gigs and shit, and I just was at Warped Tour and I got so hyped up watching the bands and now I want to be in one. Maybe next week I'll be like haha, I'm so stupid. Maybe next month I'll be sitting down with some friends and going over band shit. Who knows. I'm just trying to find some comfort. Does anyone else struggle with what they want to be, and want so bad to have more than picket fences and green lawns with your wife/husband ? Does it frustrated you enough to make you cry ? =\ I dont know. |

Not everyone can be great to other people. We can be great for our own purposes though. Being happy with what you are, what you have is greatness in itself. Not everyone can achieve that. You have actors, models, rap artists... etc, who may not be happy with what they are.
If being a band member makes you happy and proud of yourself, be a band member. Then if you become unhappy, move on to what makes you happy. Life's too short to be confused about life or unhappy with yourself. Do what you want to do and be happy. If you don't know what to do, just do something and it'll lead you to what you want to do eventually. Dance like no one's watching... and all. Ten years ago I wanted to doctor, lawyer... etc. Now, I just want to be happy. I rather like the idea of being a wife, a mother... rearing responsible, disciplined children. Doesn't sound too bad at all. |
