Do you know someone that is called stuck up just because they have class? Are YOU called stuck up? I'm not quite sure what makes a person "stuck-up." I hope it's not because a person walks with their head high and has a lot of confidence (I always thought that was a good thing). I think that a lot of times people don't even think that they're all that (others do; that's why they always have something to say). Also, many don't put themselves on high pedestals above everybody else (that's just the way they are seen). We as people help create the "stuck up" image, when the person usually isn't even stuck up. They may be jus quiet, reserved, or even just having a bad day! Perhaps they just embrace the person that they are regardless of what any says or does. It's like we have made being confident and having standards seem a bad thing when it shouldn't be. I'm called stuck up because I walk with my head high and I have high standards for myself and I have a high confidence level. I don't think this is a good reason for people to be labeled this way.

well. ive been called stuck up for many reasons; not necessarily for having class, the usual response to the fact that I have class is "white girl, oreo, coconut.." etc. things of that nature, but 2 of the most pathetic reasons i have been called stuck up are as follows:
1. The simple fact that I am a black girl who goes to a private all girls boarding school > "stuck up black girl" 2. I was called stuck up on my refusal to conversate with an arrogant and ignorant person. |
