Doesn't every teenager go through a stage where they want to be an actress, a model, a rockstar, a rap star, some sort of star.
Sometimes I want to be a hiphop artist, I want to write books, I want to be a big famous chef, I want to act, I want to be in a rock band. More recently, a rock band. I have some friends who are in bands and they've been getting gigs and shit, and I just was at Warped Tour and I got so hyped up watching the bands and now I want to be in one. Maybe next week I'll be like haha, I'm so stupid. Maybe next month I'll be sitting down with some friends and going over band shit. Who knows. I'm just trying to find some comfort. Does anyone else struggle with what they want to be, and want so bad to have more than picket fences and green lawns with your wife/husband ? Does it frustrated you enough to make you cry ? =\ I dont know. |

Then I wanted to be an architect for a long time. Then I wanted to be a psychiatrist. Then I wanted to design things for the music industry. Then suddenly I didn't want to do that at all, and wanted to do something like web design... But then again, I still would very much love to do something with science. So, YES, I do feel the same way! It's so hard, because sometimes I feel like I could never do any of those things. I feel like I'll be stuck working at some half-ass job that I hate waking up for. And it's even harder during High School, because everyone's trying to get you ready for college, and you have to pick out classes to advance your career... There's just so much pressure for me to get a "respectable" job that my parents will support. Ughh, I just wish I could do what I really wanted, and just take life one day at a time, instead of all this "planning for the future" crap. The end has no end! |
